USCIS Documents, Explained Simply

In plain English: most USCIS forms don't need a notary — but the documents that support them often do: affidavits of support from sponsors, sworn declarations, identity statements, and letters. When the instructions say "sworn" or "notarized," that's where I come in. Bilingual service, English y Español.

How it works

1

You message me

Text or WhatsApp works best — in English or Spanish. A photo of your document helps me confirm exactly what kind of notarization it needs. Same-day is usually possible.

2

I come to you

Bring a valid unexpired photo ID — a foreign passport with a USCIS stamp, permanent resident card, or any state driver's license all work.

3

You swear, sign, done

Usually 10–20 minutes. Your documents are ready for filing, and you keep everything. No follow-up visits.

Good Questions

Common questions

Do USCIS forms themselves need to be notarized?

Most don't — USCIS removed notarization from many forms years ago. What usually needs a notary is the supporting paperwork: sworn affidavits, declarations, and letters. Check your instructions, or message me a photo and I'll tell you honestly whether you need me at all.

Can you help me choose or fill out my immigration forms?

No — and be careful with anyone who says yes without being an attorney or DOJ-accredited representative. I'm a notary: I verify identity, administer oaths, and notarize signatures on documents that are already prepared. For advice on your case, talk to an immigration attorney.

¿Habla español?

Sí — completamente bilingüe, y trabajo como intérprete en programas de idiomas federales. Para servicio en español visite notarioentampa.com o escríbame directamente por WhatsApp.

What ID can I use?

Any valid, unexpired option works: a driver's license from any U.S. state, a U.S. or foreign passport, a permanent resident card, or a certificate of naturalization. If ID is a problem, ask — Florida allows two credible witnesses in some cases.

How do I pay?

Whatever is easiest for you when the job is done. Daytime appointments need no deposit. Evening and weekend appointments are confirmed with a $25 deposit that counts toward your total — I'll send you a secure payment link.

Important: I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida, and I may not give legal advice about immigration or any other legal matter, or accept fees for legal advice. No soy abogado y no puedo dar consejos legales ni de inmigración.
