The Terms of My Service

This page explains pricing, the cancellation policy, and what I can and can't do as a Florida notary.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

1. Acceptance

By booking an appointment with me โ€” via WhatsApp, text, or call โ€” you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What I Do

I am a Florida Notary Public (Commission #1823572, bonded and insured) providing mobile notary services: Power of Attorney, Healthcare Surrogate, Living Will, general affidavits and USCIS documents. I travel to homes, hospitals, and nursing homes throughout South Hillsborough County.

3. I Am Not an Attorney

A notary is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice. I do not draft legal documents or advise on their contents โ€” I notarize signatures on documents you already have, or that were prepared with an attorney or a service like LegalZoom.

4. Pricing

5. Deposits and Cancellations

A deposit, when required to confirm a same-day or evening appointment, secures your time slot and applies to your total โ€” it's not an additional charge. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as early as possible; I'll work with you in good faith on changes. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or don't show up, barring a genuine emergency.

6. Document Requirements

You must bring a valid, unexpired photo ID and the unsigned document โ€” Florida law requires you to sign in front of me. Some documents (like Power of Attorney) require two adult witnesses; let me know when booking if you need help arranging them.

7. No Guarantee of Acceptance

I notarize your signature correctly under Florida law, but I cannot guarantee that a third party (bank, hospital, government agency, court) will accept the document โ€” that depends on the document's content and that institution's policies, not the notarization itself.

8. Confidentiality

Information you share about your appointment and document is used solely to provide the notary service. See my Privacy Policy for details.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

11. Changes

I may update these Terms as my services change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
