Power of Attorney, Explained Simply

In plain English: a Power of Attorney lets someone you trust — often a son, daughter, or spouse — handle things like your bank, your bills, or your house if you can't do it yourself. For it to count in Florida, your signature must be notarized and witnessed by two people. That's where I come in.

When people usually need this

A doctor or hospital asked for it
Your bank won't let a family member help without one
You're getting your affairs in order — smart, not sad
A parent is in a nursing home and someone needs to manage things

How it works

1

You message me

Text or WhatsApp works best — tell me where you are and when works for you. A photo of your document helps me come fully prepared. Same-day is usually possible.

2

I come to you

I bring everything needed. Florida law requires two witnesses for a POA — if you don't have them handy, tell me and we'll plan for it.

3

You sign, I notarize

About 15–20 minutes. You keep your document — done, valid, no follow-up visits.

Honest Pricing

The whole price in Sun City Center, Ruskin, Apollo Beach, and Wimauma — travel included.

Evening & weekend appointments: $95, confirmed with a $25 deposit that counts toward your total · Other areas →

Good Questions

Common questions

Do I need to have the document already?

Yes — I notarize the Power of Attorney your attorney (or a service like LegalZoom) prepared. I'm not an attorney, so I can't write it for you or tell you what it should say. If you don't have one yet, message me anyway and I'll point you in the right direction.

What do I need ready when you arrive?

Just two things: a valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID — not expired) and the unsigned document. Don't sign it before I get there — you sign in front of me. That's the law, and it protects you.

What about the two witnesses?

Florida requires two adult witnesses for a POA. Neighbors or friends work fine. If finding witnesses is hard, mention it when you message and we'll sort it out before I arrive.

Can you come to the hospital or a nursing home?

Yes — that's a big part of what I do. I'm experienced with hospital and assisted-living signings and I handle them with patience and care.

How do I pay?

Whatever is easiest for you when the job is done. Daytime appointments need no deposit. Evening and weekend appointments are confirmed with a $25 deposit that counts toward your total — I'll send you a secure payment link.

A notary is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice or prepare legal documents. For advice about what your Power of Attorney should say, please talk to a licensed Florida attorney.
